Expect the unexpected for this event!

Folkestone Proms has been a premier event in the town in 2012-2014 and rounded off the Folkestone Festival programme. The setting was unique in front of the Edwardian buildings of The Grand and Metropole, and looking over the English Channel. The Proms starred the Kent Concert Orchestra conducted by John Perkins with soprano Margaret Threadgold and covered a range of music suitable for all ages. Those attending were impressed with the programme of music and rousing finale that included a spectacular fireworks display. Sadly outdoor events are so weather dependent, we have had to take eveything back indoors but you will not be upset!
