SUMMARY:KENT COASTAL CONCERT BAND 
DESCRIPTION:Kent Coastal Concert Band was formed in 1991. We have been based in Herne Bay for our entire history and are Herne Bay’s premiere band. \nWe are a friendly band of 50 members that performs throughout the year at various venues around the Kent Coast. Although the nucleus of the band originates from the Herne Bay\, Whitstable and Thanet areas\, many of our members travel from further afield. We are proud to have musicians of all ages\, from school children to retired people. \nThe band aims to perform concerts of a high standard and is regarded as one of the most successful and able bands in the area. Playing a varied repertoire\, we offer a musical programme to suit the tastes of a wide audience. \nWe perform regular concerts at venues all over the county\, including bandstands\, festivals and charity events. Our annual Christmas Concert is our biggest and most successful event which is held at the Kings Hall\, Herne Bay\, where several hundred members of the public are entertained each year. \nA fun-filled family atmosphere is our aim at KCCB. \n
