Saturday 9th September Chambers Event – Stand By Your Bands

Sunday 10th September INVICTA JAZZ ORCHESTRA. The Orchestra is probably the biggest band you will ever see. Based in Kent they have toured France and the Netherlands raising money for their chosen charity. Their style and their music are infectious, and audiences have often been seen dancing in the streets, with their variety of swing, jazz, funk and rock. Their repertoire is heavily varied, ranging from Jazz Standards and the Big Band Era of the 20s to modern arrangements, such as Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and includes both vocal and instrumental numbers, so there is something for everyone. This popular band will give a rousing finale to Folkestone Festivals season. We hope you have enioyed the performances this summer.
